Your questions,
with room to ask more.
A few helpful things to know before contacting a counsellor.
Before your first appointment.
Do I need to know exactly what is wrong?
No. You can begin with what you have noticed or what feels difficult. Your first conversation can help you put words to it and decide what you would like support with.
Where can I have a session?
Appointments are available in Wollongong and Dapto, and online via Zoom. Contact the practice to confirm availability and the location or format for your appointment.
What happens in the first session?
You will talk about what brings you to counselling, what you would like to change, and what helps you feel comfortable. Isaac will explain the approach, confidentiality and its limits, and discuss the next steps with you.
How much does counselling cost?
All fees are in AUD and are per 50-minute session. For appointments at exactly 5 pm, please confirm which fee applies.

Individuals: $140 before 5 pm; $150 after 5 pm
-

-

What is the cancellation policy?
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment. The full session fee applies to cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments.
See the Confidentiality Agreement for cancellation and payment terms.
Can I ask a question before booking?
Yes. Call 0427 379 313 or email admin@yurandalli.com.au to ask about the service, appointment options or whether the approach sounds right for you.
How is my privacy handled?
Isaac will explain confidentiality and its limits at the start of counselling. You can read the current privacy policy and ask questions before sharing sensitive information.
Can you accommodate access needs?
Please tell the practice about any access, communication or sensory needs when enquiring. Venue and appointment arrangements can be checked with you before you attend.
Is Yurandalli a crisis service?
No. Messages and appointment requests are not an emergency response. If there is immediate danger, call 000.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
Start with a conversation about what you need, and take the next step from there.
