TREATMENT PROCESS
With You Every Step of the Way
I believe in offering you choice and the ability to design your therapeutic experience to suit your needs. You can choose which issues you would like to treat and areas of growth you want to achieve. I have designed treatment guidelines that are evidence-based and can be tailored to your individual needs. The time-frame to complete therapy is dependant on your willingness and ability to engage in the process.
My aim is to implement programs which foster growth and development for the potential happiness and well-being of people in our community. I offer you, or someone you care about, an experience to engage in a safe and confidential experience, which will assist in the development of the key skills required to have a healthy relationship with yourself and others.

YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT IS FREE
The counselling space looks out onto a beautiful garden. We can sit in the counselling space or outside if it's a sunny day. We can have a cup of tea and have a chat about what is happening for you and discuss a plan to assist you to move forward.

THERAPY
Therapy is different for everyone as their situations are unique, as are their personal experiences.

Therapy sessions are tailored to meet your needs. An individual appointment with a therapist is typically 45 to 60 minutes, and in all sessions, personal and health information is treated with professional confidentiality appropriate to the Code of Ethics of the Psychotherapists and Counsellors Association of NSW and the relevant NSW Government legislation.

Often therapy involves a life review and conversations about current problem, goals and needs.

AFTER THERAPY
I offer an after therapy service where we stay in-touch via phone once a week or fortnight to allow you the extra support as you continue to use your skills independant of therapy.

Although our sessions have completed, I am always happy to receive spontaneous phone calls or text messages highlighting your success.

Some individuals return to therapy because they realise that there are some other areas of their life that they wish to focus on.
